Goserelin

Goserelin is used in the treatment of hormone-sensitive cancers of the breast (in pre- and peri- menopausal women) and prostate, and some non-cancerous gynecological disorders like endometriosis (growth of tissue outside lining of uterus causing pain, heavy or irregular menstruation), uterine fibroids (non-cancerous tumor growths in the womb) and endometrial thinning. In addition, it is used in assisted reproduction in case of infertility and in the treatment of precocious puberty (onset of menses or appearance of adult sex characters in girls and boys before 10 years of age).
