Liraglutide

Liraglutide is used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes. It is also used along with other antidiabetic medicines (e.g. metformin, pioglitazone, sulfonylurea, and insulin), diet, and exercise to treat uncontrolled diabetes. Not recommended as first-line therapy for patients inadequately controlled on diet and exercise.
